Introduction

The Internet currently constitutes the largest repository for freedom of information for all users, and users with disabilities in particular. As such, we place great importance on providing equal opportunity for people with disabilities to use the information presented on the site and to enable a better browsing experience.

We strive to ensure that digital services are accessible to people with disabilities, and therefore many resources have been invested to facilitate the use of the site for people with disabilities, as much as possible, out of the belief that every person deserves the right to live with equality, dignity, comfort, and independence.

To realize this promise, we aim to adhere as much as possible to the recommendations of the Israeli Standard (TI 5568) for web content accessibility at level AA and the international WCAG 2.1 document.

How does the accessibility work on the site?

An accessibility plugin is installed on the site to assist users with disabilities in accessing and using the website. Clicking on the accessibility button allows the accessibility menu to open, providing various accessibility options. After selecting an option in the menu, please wait for the page to load.

The accessibility features are designed to support browsing using popular web browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera.

The responsibility for the use and implementation of accessibility measures on the site applies to the site owners and/or anyone acting on their behalf, including the content displayed on the site, subject to the limitations of the accessibility tools and the applicable Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Accessibility options in the menu

Keyboard navigation adjustment – enabling navigation by keyboard.
Screen reader adjustment – adapting the site for assistive technologies such as NVDA and JAWS.
Flicker blocking – stopping moving elements and blocking flickers.
Optical character recognition (OCR).
Increasing the site font to 5 different sizes.
Voice commands.
Contrast adjustment – changing color contrast based on a dark background.

Changing site colors – site background, headers, and content.
Site adaptation for people with color blindness.
Changing fonts to a readable font.
Increasing the cursor and changing its color to black or white.
Increasing the display to about 200%.
Highlighting links on the site.
Highlighting headers on the site.
Displaying alternative descriptions for images (ALT text).
Increasing selected content by the cursor, displayed in an explanation window.
Displaying site content in a new window in a clear and readable manner.
Allowing users to type content using the mouse.

Use of third-party components and sites

When third-party components or websites such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, external chats, and others not under our control are used on the site, this may pose challenges for use by people with disabilities that we are unable to fix.
